"Murder in Bloom. I've loved all the Libby series but this one is a gem! Perfect cosy crime, great descriptions, lovely well-drawn characters - some new but also a welcome meeting up with old familar ones from previous books - and a plot with so many twists and turns that I thought everyone was the murderer at some point! It was also (personal opinion only) nice to have more of Libby and learn more about her in this book while Fran was otherwise occupied. A really, really good read." - Christina Jones bestselling author and winner of the Pure Passion Award

"Murder in Bloom. I do love a cosy murder mystery and have enjoyed all of the Libby Sargeant mysteries, but this one is my favouite so far. Nicely staged drama and a memorable and strangely likeable character in Lewis Osbourne -I hope he will appear in later books, too!" - Trisha Ashley bestselling author of Wedding Tiers and Chocolate Wishes

"A fab example of cosy crime, with a couple of added bonuses - including the long shadow of abusive families, am-dram and some lovely stuff on the Kent hop fields. Hope it sells squillions." Jenny Haddon, Chair, Romantic Novelists' Association

"With fascinating characters and an intriguing plot, this is a real page turner." Katie Fforde

"Pleasant, eventful and undemanding entertainment - good for the beach or the plane." The Scotsman.

Cookman produces a wide-ranging palette of characters, and writes in an engaging style, with a particular skill in depicting the quandaries of middle-aged love. As you would expect, her dialogue is excellent: take on the plane with you, and annoy your fellow-passengers by laughing out loud." Judith Cutler in Shots Magazine

"I LOVE this series - another corker from Lesley Cookman!" Christina Jones - Amazon Review

"A true whodunnit. The characters, plot twists and love interest will keep you up past your bedtime. Most of all it gives new meaning to the words 'family drama'." - Mystery Lovers Corner.

I began laughing on page one, there’s a lot of humor throughout each of the books. This could be because of the constant drinking. Seldom could a conversation be held without a bottle of wine or glasses of whisky. There’s romance, arguments and family secrets, along with some quite likable characters. I’m looking forward to seeing what they get up to next." Jackie - vulperslibris.wordpress.com
